The Path of Yoga
At its heart, yoga is a holistic journey of self-discovery that extends far beyond the physical practice of yoga poses (asanas). Rooted in ancient wisdom, traditional teachings such as those shared by the sage Patanjali reveal a way of life grounded in mindful living and ethical principles. Through these teachings, we learn to bring body, mind, and soul into alignment, cultivating harmony, presence, and a deep sense of inner freedom.

The Eight Limbs (paths) of Yoga:

-
Yama – living with integrity, compassion, and respect for others.
-
Niyama – cultivating self-discipline, contentment, and self-reflection.
-
Asana – moving with presence, creating strength, stability, and openness in the body.
-
Pranayama – guiding the breath to calm the mind and balance energy.
-
Pratyahara – turning inward, softening the senses, and finding stillness within.
-
Dharana – focusing the mind with clarity and intention.
-
Dhyana – flowing into meditation, where awareness becomes effortless.
-
Samadhi – the state of pure connection, peace, and unity with all that is.
